5 Leadership Lessons from Narendra Modi

One of the best leader of current time is no doubt our own Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi. Many times, he has shown true quality of an enlightened leader. Whether selling his vision or tea or any sarcastic comments by opposition, he always score 100%.
Here is 5 leadership lesson which we can learn from Narendra Modi:
1.       Be Visionary and you must have full trust in your vision
We have seen many leaders but very few of them are true visionary. Narendra Modi for the very first time, given a vision for Developed India, Corruption Free India, Prosperous India, Digital India. There are many like me who for the first time feel a sense of greatness in Modi vision and came forward whole heartedly to support in whatever way is possible.
Be it Demonetization,  Voluntary submission of Gas Subsidy, Aadhar Linking, Surgical Strike, GST, Triple Talaq etc., people of India fully supported without making much hue and cry. The reason is very clear, every Indian want a developed and corruption free country.
Modi took all bold decision with courage and full ownership. This boldness and courage provided the rocket thrust to his vision. No scam so far in his government. All national and international rating agencies have upgraded their prospective for Indian economy. All this happen in just 3 years under Narendra Modi leadership.
If you have trust in your vision and your intention are honest, good, you can transform Coal Mines into Diamond Mines.
2.       Be Honest and must delegate with accountability
Narendra Modi ensure that:
o  His cabinet will have competent & honest people including Cabinet Secretary &  Ministers
o   Prime Minister Office (PMO) provided the accountability framework to ensure all initiatives are time-bound and within budget.
o   PMO is being informed by respective department (ministry) but independence of taking decision was autonomous by respective Minister and its office.
3.       Convert Threat and Weakness into your Strength and Opportunity
When opposition party blame and abuse Narendra Modi either by calling tea seller, Neech, Maut ka Saudagar, Khoon Ka Dalal etc., he took all these jibes in a very positive way (its show his greatness and wisdom) and convert these coal mines into gold mines for connecting with people and ensuring more support for his party.
This is only possible when one see the opportunity in a grave situation like when people are trying to pull you apart by demotivating you (either by personal attack or backbiting etc.)
4.       Create a right successor
Narendra Modi knows that vision of “Great India” will take time and he is not going to hold the office for that much time (due to his age and also to set precedence for future leader). He already identified his successor and started his grooming so that his successor can lead India with the same zeal, spirit and vision.
A true leader never create a leadership vacuum until the mission is realized.
5.       Time Bound Decision and Goal
Narendra Modi ensure that all the goal for the development of country are time bound and respective ministry should be held accountable for timely completion. There should not be any excuses or blame game across stakeholders. He set his expectation with each of the stakeholders and PMO accountability framework ensure coordination, cooperation. He ensure that project should not get delayed because of bureaucracy or ego clash. He set the right tone at different milestone so that message should be clear for each of his ministers.

You can make the change in your company or life by adopting these 5 lessons in your lifestyle or leadership style. One very valuable lesson is - leader must respect people without looking at people stature or position. He must treat them in a same way as s/he like to be treated.

Be the Change and Build a Super India - STOP BLAMING OTHERS

After the loss of BJP in Bihar I felt very angry (not Sad). Instead of shouting on the TV set and Social Media, I thought to pen my emotions. One question that comes to my mind is, “Do we really want to Change India and Build Super India?", and the answer that comes to my mind is "Yes". The next thought is about “How” and not “Cow”! What is your thought on “How”? Are you thinking that by selecting our government and our leader and then expecting him to work like superman and give us “Super India”? Do you think that it is possible? Once again rethink on my question “How can we make India a Super India?”  Do you remember what Gandhi said – Be the change that we want to see in the society and it will start from us, our family and then it will happen in society, district, state and then the whole nation. Even our Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi emphasis so much on the duty of every Indian or citizen. Initiatives such as “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”, “Ganga Cleaning”, “...

Leadership lesson from Narendra Modi - How he make use of Meaning, Power and Initiative towards achieving the Goal of “Corruption Free India”

#Demonetization is being used as one of the tool by our honorable Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi towards achieving the goal of Corruption Free India. I would like to highlight how Narendra Modi utilize the strength of Meaning, Power  and Initiative (considered as three leadership strength) as a step towards achieving the goal of corruption free India. The #Demonetization initiative by Mr Narendra Modi is a true case study of a successful leader and current or future leaders can learn the usage of these strengths and make use of it in achieving the goal of his or her company or country. Since Independence we are plagued by Corruption in every department of government and a lot of scam has occurred in the past on tax payer money. People were in fear because of this corruption and Narendra Modi like a true leader used this fear as a weapon to define its goal of Corruption Free India and has taken an initiative of #Demonetization which will lead towards that goal. Before Nar...

🌎💰 The Looming Global Financial Crisis: Why the US Debt Crisis Matters 🇺🇸💸

The world is on the brink of another financial crisis, and the root cause can be traced back to the United States' mounting debt problem. According to the Institute for International Finance, global debt has reached a staggering $281 trillion in 2020, and the US is leading the way with a debt of over $50 trillion by 2030 [1] . The US government has been spending more than it earns for decades, and this unsustainable path is leading to a disastrous economic collapse. The debt crisis can lead to steep losses for banks, both domestic and international, perhaps undermining the stability of financial systems in both the crisis-hit country and others [ 2 ]. The consequences of this crisis can be far-reaching and devastating. It can trigger a chain reaction that affects not only the US economy but also the global economy, leading to unemployment, poverty, and a massive loss of wealth. The debt crisis facing the poorest countries is one facet of a colossal global debt crisis. Including the...
